This 1970s zip-front day dress features a pattern I am calling either “winter branches” or “spooky woods”! The medium-weight, double knit polyester fabric has a black background with white and khaki branch designs that vary in scale, from larger at the hem to smaller at the bust and shoulders. The bodice has short sleeves, a pointed collar, and a V-neckline above the nylon center-front zipper with a large metal pull attached. The shift style dress is intended for a somewhat loose fit. It is just slightly shaped at the waist, and can be cinched in further with with the matching fabric sash/tie belt. The skirt section is gently flared from hips to hem. The medium-weight, double-knit polyester fabric is unlined, and has a bit of stretch (see measurements). This easy-care, easy-to-wear, early 70s knit day dress is in excellent condition, with no issues to note.
