Description
This sheer white nylon and lace trim, 1960s pajama set combines a babydoll top and petti pants or long shorts. The set is deadstock, unworn with its original hangtag. The sleeveless, swingy waist-length top features a round collar and 2 pearly plastic buttons above a keyhole neckline. A wide panel of scalloped floral lace trim covers the single layer of sheer nylon at the front and back shoulders. Below this lace shoulder yoke, the top is double-layered, with small gathers to add fullness to the shape. A band of the same scalloped lace finished with flared hem.
The matching petti pants or long shorts have a narrow band of elastic at the high waist, a long/dropped crotch, and lace trim around the slightly tapered, knee-length leg hems. 1960s babydoll pajamas often have extra-short shorts, so this pair is unusual in having a longer shorts style. The semi-sheer shorts are made of a single layer of the nylon tricot fabric, which is unlined.
In excellent to mint condition with no flaws to note, this unworn, lacy white nylon 1960s pajama set has a darling hangtag design, with the silhouette of an elegant lady and a somewhat spooky domino masquerade mask. It encourages the wearer to “Feel Delicate”! The set is labeled a vintage size medium, and will fit approximately a size small to medium, depending on your preferred fit.
