This substantial black wool 80s crewneck sweater features a pretty floral wreath design on its center front, as well as Fair Isle-style striped trim at its long sleeves and squared-off, hip-length hem. The demure style and floral motif remind me of something 80s Princess Diana might have worn. The chunky black wool is unlined, but the sweater did originally come with a removable, lace-trimmed white collar that can be buttoned inside the round neckline. I will include the lacy collar with the sweater (not shown), but it does have some faint discoloration around its inner edge. The mid-weight wool sweater was hand-washed and laid flat to dry by me, although you can of course dry-clean it instead, if you prefer. In very good condition, the only flaw to the sweater is the previously mentioned issue with the removable collar. This cozy wool 80s pullover sweater has no other issues to note. Intended for a slightly boxy fit, the sweater should fit approximately a modern size small to medium (see measurements for more sizing details).
