Hot orange sheer lace, pleated bellbottom 1970s pantsuit—now that’s a bold fashion statement! This deadstock, 2-piece wide-leg bellbottom pant and button-up blouse set is made of seriously bright orange polyester lace. The bracelet-length sleeves of the top and the pant legs from upper thigh to hem are both sheer and unlined. The bellbottoms have a lining, at the upper section only, of slinky polyester knit, as does the body of the blouse. The blouse closes in front with clear lucite buttons, and the pant has an elastic waistband. The set includes a simple sash belt, which can be used to cinch the blouse waist, above its straight, hip-length hem. Because the pant has a relatively long rise, the inseam sounds a bit shorter than it is in reality, but the bellbottoms only reach to about ankle-length on my tall mannequin (see measurements). In excellent to mint condition, unworn with its original hangtag, this bright orange lace 70s bellbottom pant suit is quite striking!
