This pair of very dark and spinach green 1930s-1940s Bakelite bangles looks great worn together! They have a similarly carved, grooved design and matching size/width. The darker green bangle looks nearly black until examined under bright lighting, as shown. It has 4 sets of 6 carved lines around its outer surface, and 2 deep grooves carved into its inner surface, creating a a really cool, crosshatched effect. The brighter green bangle has sets of 5 lines alternating with small leaves or petals. Wear this matched pair alone, or add these carved green Bakelite bangles to your stack of favorites! Tested positive for Bakelite with Simichrome and by smell—ah, that “lovely” Bakelite scent! The pair is in very good, near excellent, condition. The darker green bangle has very slight scuffs to the shiny surface from normal wear, the brighter green has no flaws to note.
