If you’ve ever dreamed of dressing like a naughty version of Barbara Eden’s character in “I Dream of Jeannie”, then this 1960s 2-piece pajama set of striped sheer black nylon, fringed halter top and matching harem pant is for you! The tie-neck, plunge-front neckline, backless halter top has wide bands of lace trim along each side of the sheer bust panels, with fabulous fringe finishing its front hem. A band of black elastic gathers the underbust, and is visible as the strap in back, where it is hooked closed the the right side. (The large plastic hook is like those used on bathing suit straps). The matching sheer black nylon pant has an elastic waist and full legs, gathered by a narrow band of elastic at the ankle. More black fringe trims the pant hems, below this elastic. In very good condition, this pin-up style black nylon 2-piece 1960s lingerie set has only one very minor issue: a small “scuff” to the nylon fabric on one pant leg (see close-up photo). The set came to me in its original box, along with the receipt from 1965. It was given as a funny anniversary gift, and never worn, as far as I can tell.
