Description
A mid-century vintage cropped cigarette pant in bright emerald green silk shantung, these high-waisted 1960s capris are deadstock, unworn with their original tag still attached. The pant has a narrow, fitted waistband, darts at the front and back hips for shaping, and tapered legs. They fasten at the side with a nylon zipper and a hook at the waistband. The above-the-ankle-length pant is fully lined with lightweight green cotton fabric. Labeled a 60s size 16, the pant is approximately a modern size S, but with a decidedly curvy, hourglass shape (see measurements). In excellent to mint condition, never worn, these green silk cropped ladies’ trousers are pristine! With their extra-high waisted fit, they will pair well with a cropped top or blouse. My last photo shows the pant unpinned from the mannequin, to give a better idea of its actual size.
Size: approx. modern S with curvy, hourglass fit.

- Hips: 39 inches flat, to fit up to 36 loosely, or 37 more snugly.
