Description
This late 1930s or early 1940s handknit wool necktie in burgundy red features a design of bright blue and silver-gray triangles on its wide end, only. The wool knit fabric is unlined. The tie may have been made for a child, or in an extra-short adult length to pair with a 3-piece suit. The shorter length should just tuck inside a suit vest, when worn, I’d estimate. (See measurements, below.) It is in very good condition: the knitting is not exactly expert, but the tie has no actual flaws to note. This 1930s-40s wool knit tie has been freshly dry-cleaned, ready to wear!
